ONE FIT HURDLES IN AUSTRALIA

We recently sent 24 of our new ‘one-fit’ design hurdles to Australia, where they will be trialled as a replacement for traditional birched hurdles.

Racing Victoria is the governing body of thoroughbred horse racing in the state of Victoria, and decided to trial the hurdles after seeing their success in the UK.

The hurdle was developed principally to reduce the risk of horse injuries, and since they were first implemented, at Newton Abbot Racecourse in 2013, they have grown in popularity and used at 14 Racecourses across the UK and Ireland.
